Do jumping spiders need sunlight?

I came across something when looking for a phidippus otiosus that said I would need to provide UVB lighting/sunlight for my spider, if I were to purchase from this particular breeder. I have not heard of this before, and I currently have 7 jumping spiders, none of which have special lighting at all. Is this something I need to start incorporating into my care? All my spiders are healthy and have been eating well. They are in acrylic containers on the top shelf of my rack in my reptile room, so they do get light, and sunlight does come in through a window, but I don't have anything directly shining into their enclosures. This is also not something I've read in any care guide, so I was a little stumped.

Maybe that person has encountered some study where UVB is of benefit for exoskeletal animals? I'd ask, and ask the person to cite references. Maybe we will all learn something?

It is not a requirement. If the room has inderect sunlight they get some of the UVB. Could a UVB bulb be beneficial? Perhaps, but it is not necessary for keeping.
