Do Jumping Spiders kick hairs?

Im thinking of getting a jumping spider to get over my fear of spiders, they are pretty adorable. From my understanding tarantulas launch hairs in the air as a defense mechanism and it causes havoc on people's skin and eye. Do Jumping Spiders do this? They are pretty hairy little dudes. Im sorry for my newbie question. I am learning as time goes on.

No. Jumping spiders do not have urticating "hairs".
