Does anybody have any good ideas to display tarantulas? Right now we have several slings and are soon going to be rehousing them into larger terrariums. They are mostly arboreal species. As slings they have been in acrylic hobby boxes with ventilation and nice fake plants. They are so beautiful I think that it would be a shame to not have them in awesome display cases. Any ideas? I have thought about somehow transforming some tall, cylandrical vases from michaels into cages (by putting them upside down and adding something to hold the substrate in and ventilation). I should mention that I do not have a ton of money to invest in the nice specially made store-bought cages.

Go the RobC route. He has a lot of tutorials on making vertical tanks for arboreals.
