I've seen a lot of display cases at a number of online websites for collecting figures and models and such but could any of these be used as enclosures if someone drilled holes or soldered holes into them? If so could you guys point me in the right direction of some usable display cases with lids.

I have used display cases from Hobby Lobby - two for cars and one for a basketball. Be careful drilling the air holes as the plastic can easily crack. My husband drilled the holes and his advice is to put a piece of masking or painter's tape where you would like the holes and drill through the tape. Use a sharp bit and set the drill to fairly low speed. Don't put too much pressure on the drill. Go slow and you will be fine.

ah so it's the premium one thanks for the info! Are there any options for arboreal creatures that you know of?

Now I remember what you mean by regular or premium. Yea the regular ones didn't feel as strong and I knew the enclosure would turn out heavy

As for arboreal enclosures for bigger T's - I remember seeing some, but I think they also would've required some modifications. I don't remember there being any that would've worked straight out of the box. Otherwise I would've purchased them. I don't like big heavy glass arboreal tanks

Of course for slings they sell the Amac boxes

It's been a while. I should take a trip over there again

Model car display cases make good enclosures for arboreal Ts if you turn it on its end and do a little modifying. If you have a tablesaw you can cut the top lid piece in two and glue the bottom part in to make an enclosure with a front-opening door. Just be careful because they like to crack, and don't forget ventilation.

All i have is a drill and a soldering iron :/ so i think i'll just stick to deli cups for rn or look on amazon for some acrylic tanks.
