Well, it's too cold for my T to be shipped, so I have to wait at least another two weeks for my GBB I've been looking forward to. That's what I get for deciding to buy a T in January I guess. :?

Why don't you look on the For Sale/Trade board for someone in your area who is selling t's? You may or may not be able to find a GBB but i'm sure they've got something of interest within driving distance. I've met up with a couple of local arachnid enthsiasts this way and gotten much better deals than through an online vendor. Plus there's the networking aspect of it; It never hurts to know people!

I'm really sorry Prof, but it really is better safe than sorry. Just imagine looking forward to it, and then have it not survive. Two weeks will fly by, just wait and see! :D

I'm in MD, the whole mid-atlantic has hardcore cold coming our way this weekend and it's already in the midwest i think. Maybe that's why they wouldn't ship.

Sent you a pm Shadow...

That really bites Prof- :wall: no pun intended. Have you searched your area thoroughly?..I know of a breeder/dealer in the DFW metro area but I just checked the website & they are not showing much of a variety at this time and no GBB's.
They sale strictly captive-bred and offer mostly females so they are a little pricey but, should be within driving distance of you.

I understand completely.I am stuck without new additions until at least march. I had one shipment this winter. The T.s made it but 2 were in pretty rough shape despite great packaging and heat packs. Regardless of the fact that you can still get a live arrival guarantee I simply won't subject anymore animals to the added stress of winter shipping.
