Awesome! Thanks for the info. I was really hoping they would do something like that. I love that show.

That Was one Awesome episode too, Still can't see what the hype is over Assasian Bugs though, but that portion was pretty cool either way!

I loved it; I wish they could have made a whole show out of it though. The actual "zoo" part of the Insectarium is supposed to open this fall.

If anyone caught the "Mosquito Control Officer" episode, it was shot on the other side of the same building.

I thought they did a great job on the "Bug Breeder" feature. My favorite parts were the millipedes, diving beetles, and assassin bugs (nice shots of "violent" predation of crickets).

AWESOME place! I love it to death!

I had to record it i was busy studying for exams... :wall:

allot of the stuff they said sounded very, unprofessional the so called "bug breeders" Kind of annoying really. good episode though i liked the beetles but the ants were my favorite, to bad we didn't have any better shots. The assassin bugs were sweet too.

Yep. But you have to remember it's for a general TV audience (not just us bug people :) ) Sometimes I have to remember to use common names for insects and their anatomy when explaining things to non bug keepers or they just look at me funny. Ok, they do that anyway but at least I try :}

The ants were pretty awesome. I like how they had different compartments that fitted together. That's really neat. I'm planning on building an ant farm soon so that gave me some good ideas.
