i'm not familiar with sexual dimorphisms of diplocentrus, but it always just seemed like a "he" to me. i caught a bunch of little ones, i hope they grow up to be as huge as he is.

very nice, and not very poisonous....so maybe a scorp for me :)
i look at my country for some Diplocentrus ssp. and so i find this shop http://www.terra-exotica.de/insekten in germany.

but the shop call this species: "Vietnam Scorpion >Diplocentrus ssp." forget it.

So i look at scorpion fauna for vietnam http://perso.wanadoo.fr/eycb/scorpions/AIVietnam.htm

so i remember some one says, 50% sells scorps under a wrong name! maybe much more :? :embarrassed:

this page was last updated before 3 years (letzte Änderung 03.11.02) so perhaps back then there were indeed diplocentrus spp living in Vietnam and suddendly decided to move to america :D

Very nice photos of a very nice scorpion btw!
