Dilemma (can't choose which T)

I'm about to get an Aphonopelma sp. New River, but a friend has offered me his female (3"LS)L. parahybana at a very cheap cost (50% off the normal price). He's selling it to me because he'll be migrating to another country and no one's going to tend his Ts.

I'm on a tight budget, I cannot get both Ts. I don't know which one to get. I'm not really a fan of LP, but the discounted price is making it irresistible. Now I'm on a dilemma of choosing LP over New River.

The only thing I know about LPs is that they are big. So can you give me reasons why should I get the LP or why should I not?

The LP is a good eater and grows fast. Its a very impressive looking spider and if you have small hands like i do its just neat seeing a spider bigger than your hand.

Is it at least a juvenile or subadult Aphonopelma? They're apparently very slow growing. If its just a sling, it'll be quite some time before it grows up. Also, my new river (tiny sling) spends all of its time in its burrow. Fortunately, its against the glass so I can always see it.

I have a 3" or so LP, its always out, very bold, ALWAYS is up for eating, and will get HYOOGE! I say, finances be damned, get 'em both :}
