she's about 6 feet and weighs about 30 pounds...when i pulled her out this morning to check on her she crawled up my shoulder and sat for about 20 minutes with her head resting on the top of my head lol...she's my first large snake and i'm still kind of marveling at her so forgive me if i get a little "kind in a candy store" over her hehe

this picture was actually taken in the reptile room of the swamp tour where i work so that "Do Not Open" sign is sitting on top of the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake's cage hehe

yep she's a redtail boa and right now i'm keeping her on dead medium rats...i want to try to move her up to large dead rats though because the medium ones are a bit small for her...i'm just having a problem finding them pre killed and i'm having a hard time getting my head around thumping them myself lol:8o...i've heard from some people who work at the zoo and also a herpetologist i know that feeding pet snakes live prey can sometimes make them more agressive and i'm trying to keep her more docile so i can handle her
