Differenciating between E. chopardi and G. portentosa

I have some of each mixed into the other's colony and would like to separate them, but need help telling them apart.

I have all sizes and another forum informed me that E. chopardi were rounder, and G. portentosa, flatter.

Can anyone add to this so that the fog of vagueness clears for me?

Placed side by side, what are the distinguishing factors?

Easiest way to clean out the colonies may be to destroy all nymphs and keep adult representatives. Any portentosa mistaken fro adult chopardi will grow and then can be removed.

However, why the heck would I deliberately incur losses, when I can be guided through a sifting process?? :?

All I need is the way to distinguish the one species from the other so I can have two happy colonies...

Ok, I've worked it out!

The G. portentosa have an extra spine on the third leg from the left, noticeable only when flipped upside down, and the E. chopardi is the one stifling a grin as you search for it!
