Did my sling try to bite me?

So i got a C. versicolor sling yesterday and when i was taking it out of the shipping container it ran on my arm then stopped then did a motion that kind of looked like biting and ran further and there was a droplet there. So did it try to bite me but just didn't pierce through my skin or was it something else?

Maybe ?? Last time one tried to bite me the fangs didn’t go in. Did you see it’s fangs?
