Did I get a good deal?

I've been going to a local breeder and he seems like a good knowledgable guy. He said he's been giving me good deals but since I'm a beginning snake keeper I have no clue what a good deal is. So I was wondering if you guys could tell me if I got a fair deal or not? Yesterday I went to his house with the intention of buying one snake, but we all know how that works! I ended up getting a 2012 Stillwater hypo bull snake for $60. I fell in love with a beautiful adult male okeettee corn snake about 4.5 feet that I got for $45 and he talked me into buying a beautiful adorable little 2012 female Carmel corn snake (het for hypo and blood red) for $30.

Was this all fair? I'm having trouble finding prices on the bulls online and the Carmels have been varying.

Thanks guys!

Assuming that the snakes are healthy, I'd say you got a really good deal, especially on the Okeetee, since I see wild-caughts that were picked up in someone's backyard locally sell for more than that at reptile shows(keep in mind I live on the SC coastal plain where Corns of "Okeetee" type are common). I don't know about the Carmel Corn, since I don't "do" Corn morphs, but a nice-colored Stillwater Bull usually does go for at least 75.00.

I *adore* Bull Snakes. I hope you love yours as much as I love my girl.

I don't know anything about snakes, but it would be a poor business decision to have a buyer come to his house (now you know where he lives) and rip him off. Just sayin.
