Ok so I did a little reading, hopefully someone on the boards might have some experience.

A) Is it possible to ship these?

B)Is it true or a crock of crap that poison dart drogs are not poison in captivity because they maintain their poison from other food sources?

C) Can you safely keep more than one kind of poison dart frog in the same terrarium?

Hello, I breed three different species of poison frogs. I also sell them and educate customers about their care at Preuss pets in Lansing, MI.
A) Yes, they are very shippable. I buy most of the frogs that I sell at Preuss from Fla. and have them shipped. Check out Dendroboard.com and you will see vendors selling and shipping frogs much the same as they do here on AB. Tho' noone there has tried Ryan Nefce's straw method yet!{D
B) Do you want the long version or she short version? The short version is yes, that is for the most part true.
C) There are many species that you can keep together, as long as they are of similar size and can all get out of each others face. Females of the same species are the most likely to have issues. There are a few species best kept with their own kind, like the reticulatus and a few other feisty thumbnails.
You should spend some time checking out dendroboard.com. There will be an eerie similarity, after getting used to AB.
