Can I add degus to my snakes diets because I vary their foods from birds to rodents now I may add degus. Y'all might say it's not worth it but I'd still like to know

I'm sorry, I HAVE to ask....

Why do you appear so compelled to feed as many different things as possible to your snakes? The nutritional value can't be much different (with the exception of chicks being fattening). It honestly seems to be more of a personal kick than a heath concern. A healthy mouse or rat is plenty.

Exactly Cody, I was only asking LOL. I realize mice/rats are plenty but in the wild snakes eat whatever they can get so why stick to two things. Plus if ppl don't ask questions they'll never find out answers. So I was asking.

Also depending on the snake species - for instance ball pythons are notorious for this - feeding a variety is a really bad idea. They like to imprint on one kind of prey item and will stop eating others, which is how we end up with people complaining that their ball python will now only eat live black-and-white hamsters or whatever.

 exactly my thought...dont ball pythons usualy invade mice burrows and eat all the mice then claim the burrow as there own in the wild...also ballpython...i know you were just asking. but seeing ashow most snakes...specialize on one or 2 prey items that much variety is a badidea like spore basically said. you should let them get used to what there eating...they learn what the scent of there specific prey items smell like and thats how they know what to hunt. and track.
