Is it just me, or does that Leopard Seal look like some kind of fuzzy dinosaur?

Wow. That is incredibly cool. What a lucky guy, that's truly a once in a lifetime experience. Well, I guess people with jobs like that have plenty of "once in a lifetime" experiences but still... awesome.

Wow, that was incredible! Thanks for sharing :)

My dad had a subscription to National Geographic, as well as boxes of old ones. I used to sit in the walk in closet he kept them in and read constantly. One of my dream jobs growing up was to be a photographer for them.

It baffles me that this creature would actually try to care for the cameraman. I wonder how much of a fluke this was?

@DrAce They remind me of big dogs.

Thats was reall neat. Thanks for sharing.

Ace, they remind me more of a waterbased tiger. I never realized how big they were, and the teeth on that thing!

I was reading about them after hearing about that story. It's pretty cool think that a large carnivore can sprout up from something like a seal.
