Does anyone else have pokies that do this? My female P.formosa is due for a molt any day now. But all day and all night she just hangs limp from the glass near the top of her tank. Like her foot pads are posted solid and the rest just goes limp. It's odd and worries me a little.

Yep. I've seen my Taps do that every so often as well. Usually, it seems like they make sort of a sling out of their back legs on the downward side to hold up their butt.

A little disturbing looking, I agree, but I've never had anything bad come of it. I assume they're just lazy. :}

Im guessing its some lazy premolt hang. Kind of like chillin' in a hammock waiting for your new skin to harden.

but none of us know why they do this. Still doesn't answer the "why" question.
