I'm posting this for him since I took this on my phone the other day. It's his female 8" T. blondi he recently got. Sorry the pic isn't clearer. More to come.....

I took a few pictures of Jason's spiders last night.

First we have the lovely G. pulchra that he found for a steal at the LPS.

Then the freshly molted A. geniculata

The B. smithi in action

3 shots of the female T. blondi in her new home

and the new male

Also, we had a visitor at the nursery yesterday. Isn't this a beautiful Spiney Orb Weaver?

I think a.genics are really cool tarantulas. Big and awesome black and white coloration.

I agree. Cant wait till this one becomes a beast . I was told by my trader for my adult male that its a female , and the naughty parts seem to agree on the exuvium.

yeah , shes a beaut. I wish I could take credit for her, but shes a recent buy . I saw her at a pet shop like 7 months ago . didnt think anything of it since it was kept a bit wrong ( no hide, pine chips , too small water dish) and at the time I wasnt looking for more spiders as I had over 40 and already had one I had been rasing from a 2nd molt sling since 04' ( the one in pics on hand) Then I started dating my special "pusher" who was into the spiders as much if not more than me and reignited my lust of them . and once I saw what the adult females were going for and realized how long I really did have before mine was viable for breeding I had to have her. and at the price including cage and watering dish it was a no brainer. Yeah , you should have seen it when I got it though . butt was a lot smaller and it looked a lot weaker . I was worried the first few days as it looked a few times like it was in death curl, but once it found water dish and had some water and started eating it really perked up . Id like to breed her this spring ,but might wait till after she molts so I dont waste my time the first attempt. actually lookin for a MM right now for her. if anyone has one to sell , please let me know . I hear they live a while after ultimate molt.
Jason
