dart frogs

anyone of you have dart frogs...i just bought a tri-color mantella and it looks really good and i want to buy more...show me pictures if you have any and tell me how much they are worth...any of you guys breed dart frogs?

Dart frogs and mantellas are not the same, they're even from opposite sides of the planet. :)

Nope, mantellas are from Madagascar and dart frogs are from South America. It is an excellent example of convergent evolution. They are kept in very much the same way though.

This is the reason you need to know the scientific names of what you keep. Dart frogs fall in the genus Dendrobates and mantellas are in, what else, Mantella.

ok thanks..well this lady from the petshop told me that they are under the same family..haha...now i know...
