I keep checking the 10 day forcast and I don't know when I'll be able to get my GBB shipped. It's paid for, so the suggestion some have made about shopping for a T closer to home won't work. Plus, I've really got my heart set on this species. So....I guess I need to be patient. Sheesh--one of the reasons I live in Texas is we barely have any winter! Now we have to have winter weather when I least desire it. I may have to get the seller to send me a pic, just so I can sigh over it.

Name wise, I'm leaning towards Dali or Picasso

I'm in the same boat with my A. versicolors. Not that it's too cold in San Diego{D {D , but that it's too cold where the seller lives. Remember, that in some situations patience isn't only a virtue, it's better than giving yourself an ulcer fretting (or even worse, having an animal die in transit  ). Hope you get yours soon.

Cheers,
Jen

Yeah, it's like waiting for Christmas. If you open your gifts too early you can be disappointed. (BTW Jen - I JUST found the spell check button) ;)

I'm spoiled. It doesn't usually stay cold for too long of a stretch here so when it does I'm miserable. My husband almost got transferred to Ohio once, I said "I'll see ya in the summer - I'll stay here in winter!"

I had to put off shipping out 2 mm purpureas this week. Kinda sucks. I hope it's warmer next week.

Yeah, the only bright spot is we might not have school tomorrow because they're expecting ice & sleet tonight! I sound as bad as the students! :p

If I get a day off, I'll work on my OTHER hobby - scrapbooking.

I hear you there Waldo! Negative wind chills almost make my dogs want to cross their legs and wait a while. LOL.

Name-wise, I like Picasso for a GBB.

I was quite dismayed this morning when the thermometer thingy in my car today said it was 1*F. Yes, one. On top of that, my heater blower has been acting squirrely for the past few weeks, so I went half the ride to work with no heat. :(
It's supposed to warm up here this weekend, it might actually get above 30*! >gasp<

Will this help tide you over or does it make it worse?

Sorry if I made it worse...

We have huge waterfalls that are 100% frozen right now and that happens about once every 15 years! Central and eastern Oregon has been waking up to -11-21 degree weather with a - 25+ windhchill. So we are feeling it here too in the Northwest.
