howdy yall! hope youre well.
recently i managed to get a dancing white lady spider from a convention, and i brought her home about a week ago, though i fear im doing something wrong, because she has just been staying at the top of her tank the past few days, and from what i understand she is mostly terrestrial. pictured below is her current enclosure.
i dropped in 2 small crickets for her on monday and it looks like she ate them.
the substrate i currently have her on is a mix of play sand and eco earth/reptisoil. both of which are bone dry except at the very bottom where i lightly misted it if she where to burrow.
any tips or critiques are appreciated! i just want her to be comfortable. thank you!

I'd ditch the wood and provide a hide.

She also may not like the substrate. Try putting a layer of sand over everything and see if she comes down.

If you push more sub to one side of the tank, with a hide near it, it may encourage burrowing.

Seeing that you found her at a convention gives me hope on finding another one soon.

a bit of a concerning update. she is still at the top of her tank as of this morning and shes kinda curled up. she is a big girl, so it might just be her time. i am just bummed that she doesn't seem comfortable

Dang dude that sucks. She does seem like an adult and this species does not live long. I wish you the best with her from here on out.
