Took my Damon medius girl out on her piece of cork bark today so that I could do some regular spot cleaning in her tank. She’s got eggs! Home girl has not seen a male in, well ever to my knowledge. The only possible time she’s been in the presence of a male was well over a year ago before I got her.
I’m excited for her, definitely unexpected. But now I need to know how to best care for a preggo ambly. I’ve offered food but she hasn’t eaten in at least a couple of weeks, she looks skinny under her egg sac - do they eat while pregnant? If and when babies hatch, is there anything I should change such as increased humidity etc?
Any help is much appreciated, ideally I would’ve already had this knowledge but I had no intention of breeding my animals lol

How long have you had her? Has she molted in your care? Is she wc?
I’ve had her for almost a year now - she has moulted once in my care. Before I got her she was at a local pet store alone for six months. No idea if she was originally wild caught 🥴 very confusing! Haha

If she's molted in your care, then the eggs are not fertile unfortunately. But that means you're likely doing something right as far as care goes, so well done!

That’s honestly kind of a relief because I don’t know what I’d do with all of those babies 😂 glad to hear she’s happy though!!
