Cyst or lump on Chilobrachys sp. Electric blue? Help!!

This appeared after her recent molt today. She is acting normal, moving fine, looks perfect everywhere else. I’ve never seen this on her before and have 0 clue as to what it is. Please let me know on ideas of what it could be or if you’ve witnessed this in other T’s- and if it’s dangerous?!

I've seen similar posts on here recently where after a molt there are sections of the new exoskeleton that didn't grow setae normally (or at all). Given that it has just molted, I think this is probably what has happened here. Not sure what causes it, but it likely isn't a condition that you need to worry about. All you can really do is wait until it molts again to see if it is corrected then, anyway.

Ah okay thank you I appreciate the input a lot I’m not sure if it’s the setae but it’s more like a bulge kind of shape, it’s not flat like a bald spot normally is. But it’s a lot less concerning if others have been seeing this issue too

I'm not sure that's what is going on with your T, but it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this. Either way, if it's acting normally (eating, drinking, pooping, webbing), then I think all you can really do is wait it out and hope it gets better next molt.

Yes, it’s not flat like a bald patch. She has been acting her typical self still though.

I’ve had a couple where the exoskeleton was beyond the rest, all I did was feed sparingly. These were Brachy.
