Check this out! Eggs are hatching!

Mom is a difficult specimen to take pics of. She is very reclusive and only comes out at night. She is in dire need to molt so she doesnt look all that great now however after she molts I plan to do a photo shoot with hernice Brian S i really like these spiders and congrats on the sack got any pics of there mother ? I cant wait until my slings get some size on them.
Thanks Bro! Your article in Invertebrates Magazine inspired me to breed this species. Not to mention the Mom is one of your babies LOLReally nice job Brian!

I pulled it a couple days ago and I have them in a deli cup with a dry coffee filter with lid off which is them placed inside a larger deli cup with wet towels and and the lid on. There are some holes drilled around the sides of the larger deli cup for a little ventilation. Hope that makes sense LOLcongrats Brian,
when did you pull and how did you incubate?
Sure I always share any info I have. This seems to be a pretty easy species to breed. I keep the female in a planted Exo-Terra vivarium with a large piece if driftwood. If I can remember I will take a pic of the Exo tonite. I simply turned the male loose in with the female and left him with her. They would never do anything while I watched but my wife would hear the male drumming at night when she would get up and feed our daughter. The female dug out a chamber in the substrate and disappeared until I dug her up and found the eggs. So yeah both sexes can cohabitate at least for awhileis there any info you would like to share? i have a gorgeous female who i would like to mate at some point.
i knew they could get big but 8 inches, you got pix of her? That is awesome. I am glad that the article helped to inspire and that female really turned out nice. My girl is cohabitating with a male as we speak. She molted right before this and is a little over 8" right now. Fun to see a spider that big still take roaches out of tongs.
