Collected these from my yard today, was wondering if anyone has a scientific name or info on them.

Fun fact: If you shake them, or otherwise make them mad, they smell like Marichino Cherries

Probably Harpaphe haydeniana haydeniana, Look here

We've heard this question before gongyles....

There's a very similar looking pede in Brasil: Eucampesmella sp.

You are VERY fortunate to have millis in your garden! That's kind of a surprise to me

I seem to have some problems keeping them alive, I collected about 10-15 of them and now I'm left with 2. I have notice 1 or 2 pedeling and I have'nt seen any eggs yet. I keep them in an enclosure with rotting leaf litter and I feed them romain lettuce and comercial dry reptile food. Does any one have any clues to thier mysterious death

Polydesmids are (for reasons entierly unknown to me) almost impossible to keep alive. I have only had one singular species live for me ever for extended periods of time. In fact two years later and still okay. But that is one species out of 5 I have tried  . Still no young.
