I tried Egg shells with pill bugs they never touched them. Do millipedes need calcium?
Isopods do eat cuttlebone though some species more and less than others. On the other hand diplopods do not touch cuttlebone, egg shells, etc. The only way to get your A. gigas to ingest it would be to pound it into a fine calcium powder and mix it in the substrate and hope it doesn't damage or stick in the digestive tract.
