Hello all! My terrarium for my new P. Regius is done, I'd love to share with y'all and hear what you think!
I also covered the top opening with more plexiglass, and I drilled ventilation holes both in the plexiglass and in the metal at the top. I sealed the interior with animal-safe aquarium sealant. The bottom has sphagnum moss (from Petco) for humidity retention.
Decorations wise - The archway is an aquarium decoration from Petco, and the fake plants are aquarium plants also from Petco. I bought the miniature ceramic chairs from an antique store - they are sanitized, and they are smooth, so they should be functionally the same as a rock from the spider's perspective. The actual rocks are ones I collected, and boiled for sterilization. The spiral staircase is made out of Maple seed twirlers (all foraged items, including these seeds, the acorn, twigs, and pit were all sanitized in the oven at 250 degrees).
I made "feeding shelves" out of shells (boiled to sterilize of course!). They'll be a nice place to be able to clearly see the spider hunt a feeder. They are attached the wall with strong neodynium magnets - anytime something is attached to the wall, it is with a magnet so that I can move it if need be.
There are two climbing branches made from sanitized white driftwood with aquarium plants wrapped around, positioned at the top. There are two hides made from acorns, cut with a dremel into a heart shape. They are too small for an adult spider, I think. When the spider grows out of them, I can remove them or just leave them as decoration. The 3rd heart-shaped hide is a pit of some sort - I found it as driftwood at the beach. Hopefully it will be a suitable size for an adult!
Besides this, I used a couple glass pieces from my mother, who works with glass. There are two little mushrooms at the back of the terrarium, and I used a flower-in-water-drop glass piece on the latch, in an acorn cap.
I have my mister, tongs, and even a heating pad at the ready just in case. My spider arrives on Tuesday, I'm very excited! I'm quite pleased with the terrarium. Please, feel free to share your thoughts or ideas for improvement!

The exterior view.

Interior view.

Details 1 - The upper "atrium" with hides and climbs, the view from the top, and sun and moon shaped ventilation holes, and a back shot showing some glass mushrooms.

I made this terrarium from a large lantern for candles, that I found at Michael's. I replaced the glass panes on two sides with plexiglass, so that I could drill holes for ventilation. I drilled the ventilation holes in the shape of a sun and moon!Details 2 - Glass flower latch, thermohygrometer, clamshell feeding shelves, and acorn hide.
