They look like them yes there on the water dish attacking the bolas . Haven’t seen them bother the t at all. They’re so tiny I can’t get a clear picture of them.i can't see what you are seeing, much too blurry
are they springtails or not?
Do they have their general body plan?
where i come from, we call all springtails “Collembole”. So yeah, pretty sure thats what it is.They're Collembola sp.
the pet store wanted $16 for springtails. I wish I could zoom in on them. Are talking about those microscopic white rice line looking thinks? If so, id go with what they said.

I suppose it is a purity of strain thing. Anyone with indoor plants kept too moist will have a nice colony at one point or another.the pet store wanted $16 for springtails. I wish I could zoom in on them.
They showed up after a bag of timberline soil , which dried out by now
I tried asking for them but PetSmart didn’t carry enough to start a colony so that fell through. Parents don’t give me spending money despite me looking for a job so I can’t buy anything.I suppose it is a purity of strain thing. i do not doubt you have a circle of generous connections that could aid you if your desire was to acquire them.
if you do not wish for them, drying out will solve the issue at some point.
Perhaps a culture from a clean forest. A place you know that has no toxic waste. Everytime I go frolicking in the woods, i find them. Maybe start some kind if venmo or something. People started go fund me’s for less important things.I tried asking for them but PetSmart didn’t carry enough to start a colony so that fell through. I’ve had them randomly spawn before but always died off when I tried making a dedicated container of them . They might die off again eventually. But I put the curly hair soil in my Pampho tank which stays wet now . I don’t want them to go away.
