Curly Hair Molting?

I've had my (juvenile?) curly hair for about a month and a half now. I got her from a seller at Repticon that obviously knew nothing about spiders and was afraid of them even. This is my first time owning a tarantula so any and all advice with anything is welcomed, but I am wondering when she(?) will molt or at least show signs of molting, or if I should worry that she hasn't molted yet? 20180907_083714.jpg 20180907_083743.jpg 20180907_083714.jpg 20180907_083743.jpg 20180907_083714.jpg 20180907_083743.jpg 20180907_083714.jpg 20180907_083743.jpg 20180907_083833.jpg 20180907_083843.jpg 20180907_083714.jpg

Slow-growing species like this one may only molt once a year or less, especially at adult size. So don't worry. If it's still eating well, it won't be molting any time soon. If you have any specific care questions, feel free to ask here. :)

You've only had her a month and a half, don't expect moults that soon after obtaining any Brachypelma species of a similar size.

Op how big Is your albo?? It looks big!
Males grow lightning fast , unless they don’t eat Much. Female usually take longer , I’m hoping one of mine are female.
I wouldn’t worry about when it molts just keep feeding it once every week or two. Until it refuses then it will molt eventually!!!:cat:

Depending on your temps, at juvenile sizes a Hobby/Honduran albopilosum (pictured below) should be moulting every few months up until about 3.5" where growth will slow down drastically (my 4.5 inch girl's last moult cycle was 16 months give or take).

Nicaraguan albopilosum seem to grow a bit slower but not by much (from 1cm to 2 inches in a year and currently going 4 months between moults).

Isn't that where all perishable snacks should be kept?! :D
You'll want to make sure you're very thorough with the removal of the urticating hairs before eating. Otherwise... well, I don't know, but I can't imagine that would end well.

Nice fangs. She'll molt when it's their time, not when we want them to. Patience. The abdomin will turn black. If she hides in the substrate, don't dig her out. This is ok.
