Hi,
i have some questions about Cupiennius salei. Why these two specimens have different colouration? First is a female for sure, but for the second specimen i really don't know. Male, different colour form or what?

Isn´t this a crying shame:

one of the most kept and long-term bred true spider species at all and no one even dares to do as much as even throw in an opinion.

Take mine:

I´m really not too interested in Cupiennius as often stated, but Cupiennius salei shows obvious sexual dimorphism and especially dichromatism.
Well may be you´re dealing with a couple.

That said, C. salei is known to sport different coloration morphs, that are regardless of sex.

Good luck.

Greetings,

Stefan
