Cupiennius salei feeding habits ?

Any recommendations on how often to feed or how often C. salei feeds ? One specimen is living with several crickets and hasn't eaten in a week. Is this normal ?

usually a cricket doesn't survive 1 minute in the enclosure
(as to what i've experienced)


i feed twice a week BTW.

Yes, it is likely about to molt. These spiders are short-lived and fast growing; I feed mine every other day and they pounce instantly. A spider of any kind should not be "living with crickets". Even a large tarantula can be killed by crickets while it molts. I recommend removing any uneaten food immediately the following morning.
