This chap couldn't quite distinguish between earth and sky after "waking" from its feigned death. It walked like this all the way back into the waiting enclosure.

Nice Vid(s). That species is very cute looking and active.I've managed to break a little ground with the Asbolus verrucosus (formerly in genus Cryptoglossa. I have my first larva (probably more in the colony tank as well)! But I separated this first one out. I also saw two eggs laid on and stuck to the leg of one of the colony members.
Of course, I have to take this opporunity to share my video link for this species again:

I have three species in culture of the tribe Cryptoglossini (death feigning beetles).
Edit, the tribe is now Centriopterini.
Argghh! I just labeled the tank.
Bugs, where did you find the larvae? Just wondering if I should arrange the setup in a particular manner or add something to encourage egg laying?
