So I'm a noob. The male crickets are the lighter colored ones, and the females are darker? Every time I pitch a dark cricket to my scorps, she prods her asspipe (excuse my language) down in the soil multiple times at multiple spots. Is she laying eggs there?

And if she is, should I remove that soil carefully to avoid getting pest and bad smell in my tank? It's impossible to see everything she does in there, but I just switched substrate, and I already know two places she might have contaminated.

really tiny cricks willbe everywhere, what a great excuse to buy a parahybana spiderling :), the mature females have a long black tail AKA ovipositor which is what shes laying with. it wont smell just wrangle the babies up by putting a small piece of lettuce in the tank where she layed th4e eggs they climb onto it and you can dispose of them as you wish.

Ok thanks, I guess it's impossible to know all the places she's layed her eggs anyway =/

Keep the substrate dry and they'll never hatch. The darker crix are the ones due to molt soon.
