Crestie morph question

I've been considering adding a crested gecko or two to the collection, but I'm a little bewildered by the number of colour morphs.

Being someone who views colour morphs as little more than cash grabs (personal opinion, no flames required), my question is this: What is a normal, no frills, non-designer crestie called these days?

I've searched a long while, and can't seem to find any crestie description that sounds like "plain" :)

The most common or plain morphs would be a brown/tan/yellow tiger or possibly a flame.
Cresties do not come in one type of "plain" or wildtype color, most all morphs are found in the wild. Look for a healthy crestie in your price range and don't even worry about what color it is.

Thanks! So, I suppose that would mean that "tiger" is essentially synonymous with "plain". I had noticed that the tiger morph was usually the least expensive, so makes sense.

I miss the days when herps were just herps - now it's all made-up descriptives that sound like they're from an interior design show :)

A buckskin is pretty plain too.
