Crested gecko not eating

My baby crestie has barely been eating. I've had him a few weeks now. His original tank was WAY too big (he can use it as an adult) so I found a smaller arboreal tank for him. Just moved him a couple days ago. Still won't touch the Repashy. I got desperate and fed him a couple waxworms, which he did eat but he can't survive on those. What should I do? The humidity is good, and he's active. We haven't handled him except when switching tanks since he's a jumpy little guy.

Are you sure hes not eating? If he's too small you might not be able to tell, how much are you feeding at a time? I use 1/4 a teaspoon repashy to the 1/2teaspoon water so that its thin enough to see that hes been eating it. Also you can take him out and dab it on his nose and he'll lick it off, then put some on your finger to see if he'll lick it off from there, mine is pretty jumpy too, but will lick food off my fingers if I offer it to him.

When they are small it can be especially hard to tell if they are eating, because they eat so little. I always worried with my babies, but never had an issue.

Yeah, you're right. He's probably eating and just giving too much Repashy. When I was gone 2.5 days at the hospital with bf (my mom did check on the humidity), when I came back it did appear some food was missing, I know I should have had her feed the gecko fresh food as well or at least take the old Repashy out, but it was an emergency so I didn't think. I'll try feeding him less. I guess it'd be obviious if he wasn't eating since I got him on August 3, or maybe not. I've only had leos in the past and cresties are so different.

I've never been able to figure gecko food consumption out. They eat a few tiny bugs then grow in mass about 5,000,000,000 times the mass of those bugs. If I was to measure the mass of all the geckos in and around my house you would get the impression we were infested with 12 pound roaches.
