Here is a female of ours... and a pic of a mature male long gone! They are a nice purple, too bad I never bothered to get a better picture.

These are all over the place these days... looks like there was a huge export... always a bit sad to see that, there are about over a hundred specimens in tiny plastic deli cups at a local pet store close to our home... went fast through them a few weeks ago, found 4 dead and at least 10 to 15 that were just about to die...

There was another species imported with these as well... looks like a bleached A. seemanni with a very faint pattern on the tarsae... the local pet store is selling them as A. seemanni... made me think about you Becca, did I not read that you had originally ordered C. livingstoni but you received the C. lamanai... they might just have mixted the two of them on the shelf?! Anyhow, anyone seen these (the other species)? Any comments...

Martin

Beautiful Ts! Congrats! Where did you find the male? I haven't been able to find a male anywhere.

he came as a package deal from chris at krazy8sinvertebrates.

no worries! he'll be available for breeding loans (i already know becca wants to try him out). {D

Here's a link to some pics I took of my female C. lamanai after she molted this summer. I'm also looking for some juvenile males, or a group of slings that I can raise up. I'm very attached to her, and she's been doing great after a tough first molt due to being in very neglected condition when I got her.

Love everyones pics BTW....

Sorry, but that's not C. lamanai. I would say it's a Hysterocrates sp.
