Hi. Can you guys recommend me some crab species that are similar to Halloween Crabs? I've mainly been looking here but I would like some expert input. Species that don't need snail shells and don't need a full aquarium (a few inches of water is fine), and fully terrestrial with small soaking pools is preferred. If the species needs a few inches of water, then I would prefer either freshwater or saltwater.

I know this is a lot, but thanks!

Vampire crabs are cool, if you can find them.
They are semi terrestrial freshwater crabs.
They like a humid and warm environment/water.
Easy to keep and care for. Easy to feed. They will periodically moult. Live a maximum of 2 years. Maximum size of 2” legs included.

Zombie crabs and Blackback land crabs are pretty similar to Halloween crabs in most aspects.

As far as crabs on MyHomeNature go, I would recommend the purple land crab.

Interestingly, that was the species I was considering! Thanks!

They are very cool, they live more then 2 years in my experience, closer to 3-4 if kept correctly
