New bitchin camera plus the day off from work of course means new pics. :) Can't wait till I get used to the controls so I can get some really good shots.

1st up female woma Not much to say except womas absolutely rule.

Next up what I thought was a pretty cool looking pic of a few corn morphs. Could have been better focus wise but I had not yet figured out how to go manual with it and the auto has a tough time keeping up with so many squirmy snakes.

More please :)

I love snakes. I've only owned one, but I miss it. It was a (or sold as) Colombian Red Tail Boa. I had wanted a snake for a while, and my dad talked to some people that said it was a good started snake for a 9 year old. Ignorance is bliss, I guess. We got it CB, and I raised it for 6 years. I can't remember the last measurement, but something around 10'. I took it to a herp show for fun and got a lot of praise. Apparently since the "saddles" were so close together, and the patterns were extremely distinct (still haven't seen anything quite like it), it was a good breeder. I lent it out to some guy for $100 and a pizza (keep in mind I was 15, so that was a great deal). During the time it was gone we moved, and the tank, which was 8'X6'X4', couldn't come with us. I had to tell the guy he could keep the snake (boy was he happy) :(
Someday I'd like to get another. That woma is amazing, though I've been thinking more along the lines of a rubber boa or even a corn.

I do miss my boa, though. He escaped once while we were on vacation and got a bacterial infection. I had to give him shots for a month. He didn't complain once.

Wow...those are some gorgeous corns. The two at the bottom right of the pile are caramels right? They look awesome.

Great looking snakes, man. How much do womas go for these days? Still up in the $1,000 range?

Pairs can be had for around the 1500 to 1700 range. The females by themselves tend to get 1000 while the males are slightly cheaper. I'm guessing that more males pop out of the eggs to cause the difference in price. That and everyone I know that has them is male heavy.
