I am by no means a gecko authority. These guys are the common gecko to S.E. Asia. They average 5 inches total length at full maturity. The females are a near uniform slightly olive tan, the males darker and more mottled.
Gecksex

This year has been extraordinary for wildlife. Possibly the wettest year ever recorded in S.E.Asia. I have never seen such a high population of geckos. What makes it even more extraordinary is we have several resident tookay geckos in the ceiling and one behind my book case. They, of course, can gobble down a smaller gecko with ease.
Book case monster (almost mature, 10 inches total length)

I saw about 8 million of these when I was in Cambodia. They also bark, don’t they? Can we trade all of our country’s geese for all of your geckos?

I love geckos!! I have 13 little Crested guys and gals now. It would be awesome to have them amongst the wildlife.

Watch out for your bookcase monster... he packs a nasty bite and doesn't know when to turn loose once latched on

they look like hemidactylus if your interested. i am bad with that genus so i sont know what specie. they are common world wide, especially in asia! They can sometimes keep us awake at night.

Have you guys had many typhoons in thailand? it has be very rainy here this year as well. unfortunatly i notice more mosquitos than geckos.
