Could a Pepsis Wasp take down an Emperor Scorpion as it does Tarantulas?

I kind of feel bad for the tarantulas that get owned by the pepsis wasp. I used to live where we had a lot of them and those things were like hell demons. I've never seen a tarantula defeat one but I presume it probably happens once in a blue moon. Because I'm a fan of Emperor Scorpions I've thought to myself that it would be cool to see one teach the pepsis wasp a lesson if they were to ever encounter each other. If they were to hypothetically encounter each other, the emp being hungry and the pepsis acting aggressive, would the Emp dominate? Or would the pepsis wasp walk all over it due to its speed and puncture it with its sting?

I don't think that she would.
She isn't really "aggressive."
She uses her sting to prepare food for her young...WE think that this looks like "aggression."
But it doesn't "look" like that to the wasp...or her young.

Would she "attack" a scorpion?
If not forced to do so...?

There is no evidence that she ever has.

They seem to live very different lives.
Altho neither can speak I think that,if they could speak they would say:

"You go your way and I will go mine."

That is just what they do.

Nope.

The only reason they survive encounters with tarantulas, is because t's are far slower, and tend to posture before attacking.

Not to mention emps are heavily armored compared to a spider. Scorpions are nervous and very agile, paruroctonus are capable of subduing huge prey, like stenopelmatus.

Having watched the T hawks in action a few times... There is a mismatch. Your average T has spent a few dozen millennia primarily evolving earth moving skills, improving the fifty foot dash and acting ferocious in confrontations, mostly with other Ts. Meanwhile the wasp was evolving predator drone like skills that gives the folks at the Pentagon wet dreams, even to packing the animal equivalent of a multi barrel Gatling type gun. IE, the contests tend to be very lopsided affairs.
Think armored personnel carrier vs A-10 Warthog.
