Cottonwood borer

I found one of these, and i've been doing research on them. Unfortunately, most sites only declare them pests and describe how to kill them. I'm looking to go in the opposite direction, lol.

Does anyone here have any experience with these beetles? I plan on taking pics and sharing them soon.
