Is this normal? I'm worried that it might not be deficating.

I would not worry too much, you know he has done his business once already. Snakes don't have as quick of metabolism as mammals.

Dread has had 5 pinkies and only left one smelly surprise in the tank so far.

Is the temperature and humidity correct? Do you use any kind of substrate that it might accidently digest during feeding (if you feed in the cage)?

Those are some points to consider. Otherwise I wouldn't worry to much either. As long as it's behavior doesn't seem unusual, you can relax a bit. :)

I dunno about corns, but my yearling ball python went from Christmas to yesterday between pooping (and boy was that a horror for the ages! {D ). Snakes are pretty crazy like that, especially in the winter.

If you think it might actually be "constipated" like the others suggested, you can try soaking it in very shallow lukewarm water for a bit. That gets most reptiles going if they need to.

Also, how big is your cornsnake? If the meals are much smaller than the width of its body, that would explain why it doesn't need to go as often, because it isn't as full. :)

EDIT: I just realized...three meals in a week? You might be overdoing it just a little there, heh.

Sometimes they go where you can't find or see it without tear up the substrate.

Did you look inside the hide?

Hi Patrick :)

We feed ours on a Sunday, and anytime between 2-5 days afterwards they poop. It can be hard to find, they tend to do it along the side of the tank, or the sides of any hides they have.

I depooped all the vivs three days ago, going over them thoroughly, but when we had to move two vivs around, I found some that I'd missed because the little buggers hid it :)

Next time you have him out of the tank to feed, have a good look around - the white part of the poop goes powdery so if you're lifting the aspen straight up there'll be a little chalk pile to mark the spot ;)

Hope he's doing well!

Hels :)

Corn

My corn almost always tunnels under his aspen to do his business,so as already stated,i would dig around in the substrate some to look.

If it's a baby corn (like pencil sized or slightly bigger) I would only feed it about a pinky about every 5 days or 2X/week at most. One method is to wait until it poops before feeding it each time.

Having too much to digest can be bad for the snake, esp if the temps are in the room temp range.
