I got a corn snake in the summer of '11 (he hatched in late May of that year). I was feeding him one frozen mice of appropriate size once a week, and he had a rather steady growth rate. However, I went away for 10 weeks this past summer and my friend took care of him; but unfortunately, she failed to feed him every week and he only got maybe 3 mice or so during all those weeks. My snake is now about 18 months old and only about 28-30" long and 120 grams. Has he been stunted due to my friend's neglect? Will he eventually "catch up" to the size he should be, or will he always be smaller than other male corns?
(Btw, another friend who owns my snake's sister says that hers is much larger than mine - she feeds hers a lot and, of course, her snake didn't go through that summer thing that mine went through.)
