Exactly how long has the snake gone without eating? I would recommend getting it checked out by a vet.

Snakes can go a very long time without eating and be perfectly fine. As long as he is not losing weight or showing any symptoms of illness I wouldn't worry. Wait two weeks before you try again, try at night, with the lights out and make sure the rodent is really warm.

Do us readers a favor and write in better grammar, please.
I think it's worth asking if he ever experienced a (be it accidental) temperature drop...

He's most likely looking for a mate. It's that time of year. Even if you didn't intentionally butmate him, there's a good chance that natural seasonal temp fluctuation in your house could have caused him to cycle. It isn't uncommon at all for males to refuse food during the breeding season. Just keep trying every 1-2 weeks, and don't stress unless you see him dropping weight.

Is it a male? My male can get very funny about eating when he's more into breeding and once went 2 months without eating. Just watch his weight and activity level.

That's what I was suggestion. He, if it is a he, is most likely looking for a mate. Everything the OP described sounds like a breeding male.
