Wow that’s crazy , I hope they can bring mammoths back too. This is like a modern Jurassic park .

I love pine snakes - art read they produce the largest hatchlings— Im pretty sure Indigo snakes had the largest in the USA… will have to reach out to experts on that.

Oh bullfeathers. Be honest, you would have no problem at all thinking of a number of people who really need to wake up to a ravenous raptor in their bathroom.
And sharing the joy Xmas morning opening the packages, "Mom, is it... an alien?" "Uhhh, yes dear, or might as well be. Everybody! Quick! Into the kitchen and somebody grab the shotgun."

Mammoths (and most extinct Late Pleistocene megafauna for that matter) went extinct recently enough that they were contemporaries with most extant species, not to mention it’s highly debatable at best as to whether their extinction was natural.

I guarantee if they put one of those in an elephant the elephant will die. I would not risk the life of a species that is already under constant threat of its existence for that which is extinct in this context. Never!

It’s digusting.

Mammoth is pretty much an elephant with a fur coat 🧥 I don’t see the reason to try it either . Global warming will just turn them into hairless with evolution or they must live in Siberia .

“Pretty much” can’t say that without a genetic seq comparison at hand. I’m sure there’s partial analysis
