This time last year we only saw one of these but this year theres over a dozen big females and even more little males. My mom loves the idea of having a habitat for them, (they are all over her gardens) but she wants to move some of them. Is there a want from anyone on here for females and males? What about Black Widows, we have tons of those around here. Weve also got a bunch of other spiders. Heres a couple pics of the females, one pic even has a male with the female.

does anyone know if these are harmful if I happened to get bit?
No, the Argoipe (spelling?) garden spider is harmless.

I could probably get you a pair. PM me if your interested. Like I said we only had one big female last year and she had a couple huge egg sacs, now there are a bunch, we will probably have even more next year. We also had a praying mantis lay a huge egg sac and now we are finding them everywhere. Not to mention all the Black Widows and egg sacs.
