Construction Paper as substrate?

I have a ton of construction paper/work paper lying around. Could I use it as a substrate for my leopard gecko? It's also green colored so I suppose it'll look better than newspaper.

no, I don't think so, if it the paper got wet, your gecko would look like your signature.

But my newspaper that I use right almost never gets wet

And no, I don't have a rabid hamster, however I was the one that made that "Rabies in my hamster!?!?" thread.
