Hey all, hope you’re well.

I’ve recently been searching for an organic topsoil/compost to mix in into substrate for my Coleoptera.

There are a few “organic” brands I’ve encountered whilst looking in garden centres (e.g Levington), however reading the packets these contain naturally derived fertilising chemicals.

Would these brands be suitable or would the naturally derived fertilising chemicals jeopardise the larvae?. Any experience or brand suggestions would be great.

I use the cheap "topsoil" that's intended for filling in holes and contains no fertilizers of any sort, organic, naturally derived, or otherwise. (Really, it's mostly decomposed forest products and contains little or no actual dirt)
