OK, so I finally got my 30 gal. tank all set up.
I went to a reptile specialty store and bought 3 young Anoles (attampting to obtain 1 male and 2 females) Unfortunately, after a day or or so it was apparent, I have 2 males and 1 female.

Which is my best option?

1. Remove the less dominant male, replace with female.

2. Keep adding females so each male has it's own "harem of females".

If option 2 is the better choice, with a 30 gal. tank what are my limitations to quantity.

The 30 gal should be big enough that they don't come in to direct conflict with each other, Though I would get a few more females. I've had a friend keep 6 in a 30 gallon tank and they did well (not sure of the sex ratio). But as long as you have plenty hiding and basking places you'll do fine.

I ended up in a similiar situation with 2 males and one female. The two males get along well with each other but bully the lone female.

One male removed, and one female added.

Hopefully this resolves the conflict, the less dominant male (Stumpy - has about 1/2" missing from tail) seems quite content with the new arrangement.

Will have to wait for the other female to come out of hiding to see her reaction.

Thanks for all your replies.
