I found this handsome guy when out looking around on Saturday. Hadnt seen a big adult male like this one in years. Surprisingly, he let me get close enough to get a few pic

Nice Indian paintbrush just peaking in on the right of the last picture. Don't think I have ever seen paintbrush in an Arkansas glades. Are collareds common in Missouri glades? Really a rare site down here.

Yea, that's a nice one! I saw one a few days ago and took a pic too (texas). Biggest one I've ever seen. He wouldn't let me get close at all. I took this pic from the other side of the road. As soon as I got on his side, he went under that rock he's on. I lifted the rock to try and catch it. I lost.

gorgeous lizards! I had a few years ago that I got from a Dr. that captive breeds them in the San Diego area. very hyper but stunningly beautiful! had one gravid female that laid eggs but only one hatched out. might have to get more some day.
