I went on a hike out by Japatul in San Diego County today. Coast horned lizards were everywhere - adults and babies! Enjoy.

I haven't seen one of those in years. Eventhough supposedly "horned toads" are everywhere out here. LOL:rolleyes: . Think last time I saw a horned lizard was when I was 8 up in the pan handel. They are so cute thanks for shareing.

I love those horned lizards!
I wish they were not such a difficult captive, cause Ive always wanted a couple . . .
The various species are said to be gettin pretty scarce in their native habitats, its good to see that there are still places that have good numbers . . .

Thanks for the pics!

I'd love to find one of these guys but unfortunately I'm on the wrong side of the country. Great pics! Thanks for sharing.

Tiny little guys look at that!

I saw a few of those here and there on base down there but never saw babies like that. Awesome pics.

Here in Michigan, there are NO lizards or anything like that here. I hope my Wife and I can take a drive to look at some wildlife in the warmer states. It gets so F****** cold here!

Dang those lil buggers are cute! I'm amazed the ones you're holding seem so nonchalant about the situation
